Your black vines choke the life from me
They twist and turn through my heart
The leaves you sprout block any light I see
Colors of spring are nowhere in this start
Weeds in our garden is what you sew
No harvest shall we find as the fall comes in turn
Barren and wasted nothing will grow
This field of love will only wither and burn
The fruits of our labor left rotting in our tree
For a bad seed grew inside me…
